Heidi Plusczok
Butterflys on the Catwalk -  The 2008 Collection
The primary accent in the line of 2008 is the butterfly. Heidi chose the butterfly theme because it stands for change and transformation. With this collection Heidi reflects the symbolism of this light and joyful little animal.
This spring is a new beginning for Heidi as it is for butterflies. The
colors of clothing are a bit brighter than in past editions. There is more happiness and playfulness in this years little butterfly children.
Heidi enjoys the light and colors of springtime and feels at ease. When the flowers and trees show their radiant spring colors she feels very close to nature.
Some cultures believe that butterflies are souls that come to life during this special time of the year with its many new beginnings.
The souls of Heidi's butterfly children will be discovered by their new hosts in the spring of 2008.
The probably most outstanding doll of the 2008 collection might be Paula, Heidi's Granddaughter. Paula started school in the fall of 2007 and to celebrate the occasion Heidi sculpted her the way she looked about 2 years ago. The doll Paula looks just like the real little Paula.
