My career as a doll artist began with the creation of reproductions, predominantly antique porcelain dolls.  In 1989, I participated in modelling seminars and learned the structure of a doll head, hand and feet afterwards the building of the molds. Since then, I have studied from specialized books the anatomy of humans and created my dolls with this knowledge.  I make my dolls to a large extent from porcelain,  with this material I can create the naturalness in the children and create the details I need. I have worked for Sigikid /Deutschland as the designer for play dolls. The most successful Doll is "Freddy."  Since 1999, I have experimented with another side of the doll art creating collections of unique caricatures.  My philosophy: I love children and would like to see their different features and personalities in my dolls . I am pleased that my dolls are enjoyed by many.

I am married and I have 5 children and 1 stepdaughter and 2 grandsons.
I was born in Hadamar near Limburg/Lahn in  Germany.
