Imani
Imani is a wonderful new portrait of childhood by Master Doll Artist Linda Murray and our first African-American baby doll that features one of America's most beloved childhood hymns! She is crafted in artisan resin to look as lifelike as possible with tiny painted fingernails and toenails. Her big, brown eyes look just like a real baby girl's, so bright and happy. They are carefully inset and accented with long eyelashes, and her pigtails are as soft as can be.
Imani's "Sunday best" dress is an original design of soft cotton with a decorative trim to match the ribbons in her hair. The fabric flowers on her knit sweater and booties are hand-applied, and her musical blanket that plays the hymn, Jesus Loves Me, ever-so-gently, displays a lovely blessing of thanks. She also wears faux crystal earrings that twinkle as much as her beautiful eyes!
